When I was a little girl, maybe 2 or 3, my Grannie got me a pair of lovely bright red pajamas, very cute and girly, and I loved them madly. I think I wore them every time I could, even long after they were far too small for me. And if they’re the same outfit I’m thinking of, my mother tried several times to throw them away and I kept rescuing them; she finally gave them to a woman at the laundromat so she wouldn’t have to see me prancing around the house in them.
I’m telling you that so I can tell you this: when you look at today’s picture, you’ll probably notice that I’m wearing the same shirt I wear in a lot of my pictures. And you may wonder if I even own any other clothes. I do. I really truly do. But this tee shirt is my current equivalent of those red pajamas I had so long ago. I feel completely adorable in it, and I love the colour, and it’s comfortable and cute and I wear it every chance I get.
So, with no further ado, here’s today’s photo.

Catching Up Is Hard to Do!
I got behind, and I’m not sure how far behind and I don’t really feel like checking. So I’ll get them all uploaded and put them in this post and then quietly move forward. ‘k? ‘k.
So if you read chauceriangirl, you’ll know I didn’t sleep last night, and at 5:07 (yes, I know exactly what time), I went into the bathroom and probably used half a can of hairspray on my hair and put on what seemed to me like gobs of makeup. But my hair is fine and deflated in less time than it took to make it crazy funky. So the pictures don’t really look all that crazy. But tomorrow I’m getting my hair done, and I’m thinking wild bright red highlights. We’ll see. It depends on what kind of mood I’m in tomorrow afternoon.
Anyway, here are my photos.

This is me trying to be sexy. I managed to chop off the top half of my head, but I like how this photo came out. And you can get an idea, just from the ends of my hair, how crazy cool it looked before it deflated. I took that one with my digital camera. The next ones I took with my camera phone.

I really dislike this photo. I think I’m a lot cuter than I look here, and my favourite tee-shirt is clinging very unflatteringly to my belly. But in the interests of veracity, I’m posting it anyway. Just wait till you see the next one.

I seriously hate this one. I was trying, again, to be sexy, but I was so shaky and jittery from a lack of sleep and an overabundance of caffeine that everything came out a blur in a most unflattering fashion. I’m not sure why I thought it was so important to look sexy this morning. I’m really not a sexy looking person, trust me. But dangit, I was just determined to get a halfway decent photo of myself blowing a kiss. Go figure.

And here’s my last attempt of the day to be sexy. But take my kisses and love, and have a great weekend.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get a great shot of this. But it’s the eye of Horus necklace that Izzy got for me at the King Tutankhamun gift shop at the Museum of Art in Dallas.

Don’t worry–I was parked at the 2.5 minute stoplight when I took this photo.

It was one of those days. I guess it’s only fair, after yesterday being such a great day. This is me on hold with Malaysia. That sounds fancier, and nicer, than it really was. If you accidentally have your user ID disabled, you have to call IT in Malaysia, where it takes them four or five times as long to do what used to be done by our local IT group.

See, this is a hard photo for me to post. I don’t like how I look in it, but I love how my sister looks. I thinnk she’s so beautiful, andI wish she could see herself through my eyes.

Reading, snuggling with the little dog–it doesn’t get a lot better than this!

My favourite Saturday tee-shirt. It’s cute, comfy, and the colour matches my eyes.
